I paint almost every day in my studio in Fernie, BC. I made my way to Fernie in June of 2000 from North Vancouver. While living in Vancouver I attended various art programs including the graphic design portfolio course at Capilano University, painting classes at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, and life-drawing classes. Eventually I focused on animation and completed the 3D animation program at Vancouver Film School. I worked in the animation industry before leaving the city for life in little Fernie. The birth of my first baby in 2003 re-ignited my painting path as I wanted to create a unique and personal keepsake for my daughter. Thus, painting began and has since been an integral part of my life. Over the years my paintings have found their way to homes near and far: throughout Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Australia & New Zealand.
